Productive Day
The 4-H Capital Days participants had a very busy day today. Not only did they debate three legislative bills as well as a Capitol Tour and four great workshops. To top it off we had two excellent speakers during the luncheon and dinner. Right now everyone is blowing off some steam at the dance or chilling out watching the movie "National Treasure". Everyone will be up bright and early for the Legislative Breakfast tomorrow morning.

As my first year at Capital Days I was unsure what I would experience. Anxiously, I waited for those busy days to come. Once they were here the seconds flew by. I had an amazing time listening to great speakers, meeting fellow 4-H members from across the state, and learning more about our government. It was a great event and well planned. Our capitol is truly the most beautiful building I was ever in. Although the weather was rainy at times it didn’t bring the mood of the conference down at all.
